GIFTED EDUCATION

WELCOME TO GIFTED EDUCATION
Gifted children constitute a distinct population with unique requirements, yet they are frequently overlooked in the context of the general education system. Parents of gifted children may experience concerns when their child's grades dip to Bs and Cs, and they might encounter responses like, "Those grades are passing – it's acceptable!" from peers or educators who may not fully grasp the distinctive challenges associated with raising gifted children.
Our Mission And Philosophy

Empowering Exceptional Minds, Inspiring Limitless Potential
In Wake County's (AIG) Education program, our mission is to cultivate the unique gifts and talents of each student. We are committed to providing a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Philosophy: At the core of our philosophy is the belief that giftedness is diverse and multifaceted. We recognize that each gifted child possesses a distinct set of strengths, interests, and learning styles. Our approach is grounded in differentiation, tailoring education to meet the individual needs of every student. We value a holistic view of education, embracing not only academic excellence but also social-emotional development and the nurturing of critical thinking skills.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
